character breakdown
Andrew Jackson
ANDREW JACKSON
20s-early 30s Caucasian Male. A good-looking, immensely charismatic man’s man, prone to idiotry, racism and violent outbursts. He’s funny, but most of his humor is unintentional (deadpan is important). He’s the kind of guy you’d love to have as a drinking buddy and who’d probably be a pretty cool brother-in-law, but that’s about it. Lack of intellect, temper tantrums and an inability to empathize with others are the qualities that keep him from being a great leader. Looking for tall, handsome alpha-male types with sexy rock and roll vibe. Guitar skills a plus. Please include information on guitar playing with your submission.
Range: High baritone (up to a G) belt.
The Storyteller
THE STORYTELLER
Late 30s-late 60s. Female. Milquetoast, oppressively good-natured narrator. Loves history to the point of obsession. Role is played from electric wheelchair/scooter. Over the top, crazy librarian type.
Bandleader
BANDLEADER
20s-early 30s. Male. Dark and Dangerous. Sexy rock and roll vibe. Strong guitar skills required.
Range: Rock Baritone.
